This clock has a beautiful Tuscan inspired look, but looks great in any style of home.  The back of this clock is made from a hard composite wood.  It is a hearty 1/2 inch thick and the edges are nicely rounded.  Most clocks you see in the stores are only 1/4" so these feel very solid.  The finish for these clocks is created with many different layers.  They have a great texture that gives them a nice depth.  Each one is handmade so no two are exactly alike.  (Hand styles may vary depending on availability).

The mechanism is recessed into the back of the clock so it does not stick out.
